The problem
The finance team at a cloud backup SaaS needed to see how changes like churn would hit the P&L, and to plan budgets and revenue with data spread across several tools.
What I built
A forecasting and budget planner in Power Apps with:
- Scenario modelling that shows the real-time P&L impact of churn
- Department budgets, plus COGS and payroll projections
- Revenue forecasts built from historical sales
- Change logging and role-based access, so every edit is traceable and people only see what they should
Integrations
Salesforce and QuickBooks Online. Projected revenue is calculated from the difference between what Salesforce shows and what QuickBooks has recorded.
